Yoga Europe School Training Academy

The following terms and conditions apply to all companies and or persons or other entities (“you”) that are attending any class (“Class”) or teacher training course (“Teacher Training Course”) organised by Yoga Europe School Organisation (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

By attending and/or completing the registration form for a workshop, class, training event or seminar, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”). You will ensure that your employees, partners, agents, contractors, subcontractors and any other person attending the Class or Teacher Training Course on your behalf shall comply with these Terms. The Contract is formed when you complete the registration form and/or we send you a booking confirmation.

2. Payment

The fee for attending the Teacher Training Course (“Registration Fee”) will be as stated on the registration form for the relevant Teacher Training Course at the time of booking. Prices are inclusive of VAT except where expressly stated otherwise. All payments for the Registration Fee must be made in full at the time of completing the registration form and in any event prior to the date of the Teacher Training Course. If payment is not received within 7 days of your registration, your registration will be cancelled, and the payment of any refund will be at our complete discretion. We receive payments for our services on the following accounts: (a) Dimitris Papapetrou(Yoga Europe School) or (b) Seed of Life Trading(SOLT) Ltd or (c) AA Academic Alliance Ltd. Payment will be made via our merchant account provider (and you consent to us passing your necessary details to the merchant account provider and to them processing necessary information about you) or directly to our bank account, as notified to you. We reserve the right to run price promotions as we see fit.

3. Booking

A person who makes the reservation must be at least 18 years of age and must be authorized to make the reservation on the basis of these Terms and Conditions by all people named on the reservation. A deposit per reservation is due within 7 days from the date of booking. Payment is required to be transferred no later than 7 days prior to the booking date. Payments can be made by bank transfer, online or by cash. A deposit is necessary to secure a place on the course and should be paid at the time of the booking. The full fee should be paid 7 days before the beginning of the course. If stated before and both parties agree, students attending at the Teacher Training Course can paid the full payment no later than 7 days before the completion of the Teacher Training Course. Applicants will be taken on a ‘first come first serve’ basis and students who have paid their deposit will have priority over those who haven’t. Reserving the right to refuse a place to students who have not paid their deposit or full fees by the required date. The fees must be paid in full and any private sessions paid for before a graduation certificate is issued. Reserving the right to refuse awarding a graduation certificate, if the fees are not paid by the required date. Fees include

Included:

i. Teacher Training Course full manual
ii. Theory and practical classes
iii. Snacks, fruits and drinks in our premises

Not included:

i. Flights. See paragraph 16
ii. Accommodation and food is extra. See paragraph 16
iii. A certificate (paying the fees do not guarantee you a certificate as you need to successfully pass all examinations, have a good conduct and attend a minimum 90% of the Teacher Training Course)
iv. Registration

5. Refunds

All tickets and monthly packages for the Yoga classes shall be non-refundable for any reason. A monthly package is valid for one month from the day you bought it. Within 30 days you must complete all tickets.

All tickets and deposits for the Teacher Training Course shall be non-refundable except as set out in paragraphs 6 and 7 below. However, if you are unable to attend the Teacher Training Course for any reason you may email us at info@yoga-europe.com to provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the Teacher Training Course on your behalf and on receipt of this email we shall make such substitution and allow the substitute access to the Teacher Training Course. We may at our discretion charge an administration fee of €100+VAT for making a substitution.
Where spaces allow, we may be able to transfer your ticket to another Teacher Training Course. In this case you must inform us 5 working days prior to your booked Teacher Training Course. This allows time to transfer your ticket and give others an opportunity to take your vacated space.
There is no refund if a student pulling out of Teacher Training Course for any reason. There is no refund if during the Teacher Training Course student’s conduct is bad, exceed minimum attendance rate, time limit once course official finishes to complete the Teacher Training Course, re-sitting any examination (there is an extra charge of €50+VAT per examination), expectations regarding daily practice of students. Time extensions granted if students are unable to complete the requirements due to unforeseen circumstances but not a refund. Proof of evidence is required.

6. Cancellation or Change of Presenter

There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the Teacher Training Course. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the amount of the Registration Fee that you have paid to us and we will make every effort to provide you with such refund within 30 days of the date of cancellation. We may also on occasion be required to substitute the original presenter at our discretion. There will be no refund in these circumstances.

7. Postponement or change to venue

There may be circumstances in which we need to postpone the Teacher Training Course or change the venue at which the Teacher Training Course is to be held and if we do, we shall advise you of this as soon as we possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 9 months after the publicised date of the Teacher Training Course or the replacement venue is more than 80 miles away from the publicised venue, you may cancel your ticket by emailing us at info@yoga-europe.com and we shall provide you with a full refund.

8. Liability and Disclaimer – important, you must read this

Our sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement or change of venue shall be limited to the price paid by you for such Teacher Training Course and we shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses.
In providing this Teacher Training Course, no person is acting as your solicitor or providing you with legal advice. We are providing you with training, template documents and guidance.

9. Your obligations

If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the Teacher Training Course, you will be required to leave the Teacher Training Course and we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other payment.
You must comply always with the health and safety policy of the venue. You must comply with all requests from us or the venue regarding health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the Teacher Training Course (in which case no refund will be provided). You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the Teacher Training Course. You must proceed the full-payment of course’s fees. You shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.
You must keep your personal belongings with you always and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the Teacher Training Course by you.

10. Promotional materials and materials at the Teacher Training Course

You agree that we may include your details in any promotional materials relating to the Teacher Training Course and/or any materials used at the Teacher Training Course. We are not liable for errors or omissions contained in such information.
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any such promotional materials and any materials used at the Teacher Training Course (including course notes, slides, brochures, articles and case studies) belongs to us and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent.
You may use such materials for your own business purposes only and may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.
We reserve the right to change the published programme (including the publicised speakers) or materials as we think fit.

11. Photography and filming

We may wish to photograph or film the Teacher Training Course for the purposes of promoting future events or otherwise. You will be informed at the time of the event if photography or videography is taking place and we will seek consent from all attendees. If you do not consent to being included in photographs or videos please let the venue, presenter or photographer know. You may not photograph or video the Teacher Training Course without our prior written consent.

12. Data protection

We will communicate with you using the contact details provided on the Registration Form for the purposes of the Teacher Training Course. You agree that your personal details, namely: name, address, email address and telephone number all be stored on our system as a record of your purchase.
The security of your personal data is very important to us and we take this matter very seriously.  We’ll use appropriate procedures and security features to process and protect your information.
We take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorised access and disclosure. For example, only authorised employees are permitted to access your personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions. We use firewalls to help prevent unauthorised persons from gaining access to your personal information.
We want you to feel confident using our service, however, no system can be completely secure. Although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure. This Privacy Policy is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

12.1 Sharing with additional third parties.

We shall be entitled to pass on all your contact details to the Teacher Training Course contractors, namely venue and Presenter.
From time to time, we may need to pass your personal information on to other trusted third parties. The third parties we may share information with are:

Third party processors for website analytics purposes

Other Authorised Service Providers – we use external systems to perform certain services on our behalf. We may share your personal information with them. These services include and are not limited to, our payment gateway which allows us to process payments, our CRM system which allows us to provide customer service and marketing assistance, perform business and sales analysis, support our website functionality, and support surveys and other features offered through our website. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
Yoga Europe School is satisfied that all of our Additional Third Parties have appropriate and adequate technical and organisational measures in place to protect the security of your personal data. They will never share your data with anybody else.

Aggregate Information

Such information does not contain any personal information and is related to numerical data such as number of website visitors, most popular features accessed on the website. We may share such information with members, prospective members and our additional third parties. This information may be used to conduct business analysis and develop further website content and services which we believe our members will find of interest. Aggregate information may be used to tailor content for your personal membership profile newsfeed.

GDPR Statement

As a student of Yoga Europe Teacher Training Course, I consent to my contact details (name, email and phone number) being passed onto our partners, Yoga Alliance Professionals and World Yoga Alliance, so they can contact me directly and invite me to register as a Trainee and Teacher. I understand that I have the option of opting out of this registration process.

13. Practice Experience

Students should have been practicing Yoga for 2 years and have a strong practice before they embark on a Teacher Training Course.

14. Ticket

We shall not send you tickets for the Teacher Training Course. On completion of the purchase you will receive a confirmation email or sms. In order to complete your purchase and reserve your spot you must proceed to the payment of the deposit or full payment and completion of the application form.

15. Discounts and early bird offers

If you exceed the time limit of any discount early bird offers, we will not provide you the discount price.

16. Award of certificate

For the award of certificate the student must

  • successfully pass all examinations
  • pay the full-payment of the Course’s fees
  • have a good conduct and
  • attend a minimum 90% of the Teacher Training Course

17. Attendance to the Exam day and Ceremony day

For a student to be accepted to attend the exam/ceremony day, he/she must:

  • successfully pass the preparatory test
  • successfully pass the Yoga class teaching
  • pay the full-payment of the Course’s fees
  • have a good conduct and
  • attend a minimum 90% of the Teacher Training Course

18. Failure to pay the full-payment of a training or class

I agree that if I (“you”) will not paid the full-payment of a training (“Teacher Training Course”) or class (“Class”) on the agreed latest payment date then there will be a 10% interest rate increase on the amount per year. In regards to those that have joined one of our Yoga Teacher training courses and they have not paid I (“you”) give the right to (“we” or “us”) cancel my diploma with no further warning after 2 years of outstanding payment.

19. Travel, accommodation and refreshments

You shall be responsible for making and paying for your own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the Teacher Training Course. If you are late at the Teacher Training Course or prevented from attending the Teacher Training Course due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to wait to start the Teacher Training Course until you arrive.
If you book accommodation from us we are responsible for booking and paying. The dates of the accommodation will be mention to you and in case that you wish to stay longer days any extra cost must be paid by you. If you wish to leave our accommodation less or all days no refund will be provided for any reason.
If you book meals from us we are responsible to provide you the meals. The menu of the meals will be healthy food and fixed. No changes on the menu will be made.

20. Complaints Procedure

There are three ways that you can follow to try to resolve the issue. We will always try to resolve any complaint as soon as possible. You may wish to involve a friend or someone else to support you at any stage. If you need a sign language or community language or community language interpreter, please let the person dealing with the complaint know and every reasonable effort will be made to provide it.

Stage One:

Speak to the individual(s) concerned and try to resolve the complaint informally on the day. If you are not satisfied with the response you have received, try to resolve the issue by following stage two.

Stage Two:

Outline the details of your complaint by letter or email to info@yoga-europe.com and send it to the Director of the Yoga Europe School who will investigate the complaint. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 7 working days from the date it is received. The response will contain the following information:
i. Name of the Director of the Yoga Europe School
ii. The date(s) that the incident happen
iii. What support you can expect to receive during the process of the complaint
iv. An expected response date
In fairness to all parties and to ensure the investigator is able to investigate the complaint in an open and meaningful way, we cannot guarantee your anonymity. In exceptional cases, however, where a child or vulnerable adult is involved, in accordance with national guidelines and good practice the identity of individuals at risk with be protected. When the person(s) who are dealing with the complaint, have had an opportunity to review it, they will write to the tutor or person about the complaint has been made. The letter will outline the main elements of your complaint and ask for a full written response. At this point, if further relevant information comes to light, you may be asked for your comments to ensure the investigator has a balanced understanding. When your response has been received, the investigator will consider all the information available to them and make a decision.
The response will include the following information:
Details of the investigation
A decision about whether the complaint was upheld or not
The reason for the decision
The re-dress, if appropriate, which will be offered to you, for example, an apology, additional help or directing you to other sources of advice or support
Any other action that may be taken in light of the complaint
If it is not possible to provide a full answer to your complaint within 15 working days, the letter will outline reasons why and give a date by which a full answer is expected.

21. Disability, medical conditions and dietary requirements

If you have any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for you or any special dietary requirements (where applicable), please email us at info@yoga-europe.com as soon as possible and in any Teacher Training Course, at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the Teacher Training Course.

22. Limitations of Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the Teacher Training Course, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the Teacher Training Course, save that nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, any fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
Our total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the Teacher Training Course and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.

23. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by European Law and your hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the European Union Courts.
